Preparation

It's felt like we haven't made good progress lately. This Christmas break has given us a chance to get our electric screwdrivers out again. On reflection, however, we've been working so hard at our real-life jobs that we're able to schedule some time to go to drydock this Spring. I, for one, will sleep much sounder after we've drydocked, although it is a hugely daunting and terrifying task- mostly because of the sheer volume of unknowns.

I keep finding myself getting distracted by the exciting things like Shower Pods, sofas or coffee makers. None of which I will spend a penny on until the interior buildingwork is finished. They're the rewards for getting through the grinding part of the renovation. The full-nights' of sleep are the rewards for drydocking.

Happy New Year!

Ahoi!
I've read the whole story about your adventure about the efforts you've put in your boat.
Surprisingly there's no one asking what happened to you, so I have to:
What happened to you???

Both of you had such an extraordinary way to describe your way, your failures, problems and success in building your new home - where are you?

Cheers, Timm!
